The first Parlour pop up presented by MIEN Magazine took place in an historic Clerkenwell shop in London in March 2010. What a delightful week! We drank tea and cordial, played parlour and board games, wrote letters, recited poetry, watched screenings about etiquette, and – best of all – enjoyed delightful face-to-face conversation (imagine!) without the distraction of modern-day gadgetry (the Parlour was a mobile-free zone, you see).

We’re looking for new and exciting spaces, and to start with we’ll be mobile and pop up in the most unexpected and delicious places.
